Student Profile: Fashion Merchandising
Fashion has always been a part of my life. Starting when I was just a little kid, I used to insist that my parents let me dress myself. So, needless to say, when my high school guidance counselor asked me what my major in college was going to be I immediately responded “Fashion Merchandising!”
Immaculata is the right school for me because of its small atmosphere. I get to work intensively with my teachers and I feel that I am an actual person rather than a number at a big university.
The fashion department is undergoing some new and exciting changes, with guest speakers, and new courses being offered. I am excited to see what is going to happen next!
That little kid who used to dress himself in crazy outfits, has now become a business professional ready to conquer the fashion industry thanks to IU.
